Not only will graves turn but fans from the TV series ‘The Walking Dead’ will go into a wild frenzy when they learn that Michonne, an all time favourite in the series will be in yet another TV show.

Danai Gurira who fans know best as Michonne, will be playing the role of the mother to Tupac Shakur (the rapper) in an upcoming biographical movie known as ‘All Eyez on Me’.

WALKING_DEAD_TUPACShe is to play the role of Afeni Shakur, who is a tough woman that isn’t afraid to stand up for her rights nor is she shy when it comes to fighting for what is rightfully hers. This was seen when Afeni Shakur acted as her own defense attorney in a court of law after being accused of being part of numerous bombings while she was a member of the Black Panther Party in the 1960s.

That and in addition she takes part in philanthropic work and has proved she is a no nonsense lady when she took Death Row Records to court in order to stop them from selling her deceased son’s music. It comes as no surprise that Michonne was chosen to play this role as she depicts strength and a fearless heart.

Afeni Shakur will not be taking the back seat in all of these as she is an executive producer for the project and working with one of the greatest film directors Benny Boom. The film is to encapsulate the life and career of Tupac Shakur up to the time of his death in 1996.

Alongside Danai Gurira is Jamal Woolard who will take the role of Biggie. Jamal Woolard starred in the film Notorious back in 2009. Last but not least the role of Tupac Shakur will be played by Demetrius Shipp, Jr.
This is bound to be a film of a lifetime, don’t miss it.
