Jada Pinkett On The Oscars: Begging Diminishes Dignity | We Have Our Own Power And Don’t Need Them

by | Jan 18, 2016 | Celebrities | 0 comments

I’m so happy that a black celebrity has come out to tell everyone in so many words to stop bit*ching and begging for their acceptance and celebrate your own. I swear it feels like so many of us still want to please the slave master and will cry when the slave master don’t acknowledge us. What is my concerning to me is that black people act as if white people are suppose to celebrate black accomplishments.

When in the history of man has white people ever celebrated black accomplishments? Why are we still begging? Who cares about the Oscars? They can have that stuff. We don’t need that. We need each other. We need to celebrate each other and have our own. That is what it is truly about. The reality of the situation is that white people have been jacking our culture sense their existence and labeling it as their own. They don’t exist without us. I think they should be the ones begging. Listen to what Jada has to say about it.

We must stand in our power!

We must stand in our power.
