Lupita Nyong’o Steals the Red Carpet Show at Star Wars: The Force Awakens World Premier | #Slayed

There are many surprising things going on in this world these days, but Lupita Nyong’o slaying the red carpet or seizing our attention is not one of them.

At the world premiere for the new movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the Oscar winning actress commanded the attention of all and was the talk of the red carpet before the premiere, but many are not surprised. The beautiful actress wore a sparkling star-studded gown that you just couldn’t take your eyes off of if you wanted to.

What’s interesting about Lupita’s success in the Star Wars film is she didn’t even recall auditioning for the part. She said it was after the world wind rise to fame after “12 years a Slave” and it was all a blur.

Lupita Nyong'o“I didn’t really know what I was auditioning for,” said Nyong’o, who plays the wise alien Maz Kanata. “I guess I thought I should find work, you know? I was so busy, I was working with adrenaline, so I went in and out. I barely remember that audition, and then two months later [Abrams] called me.” The Mexican-Kenyan actor added: “I remember crouching around and using my hands as a gun.”

Nevertheless, she got the part and the internet went crazy with viral messages, pictures, comments and gawking after Monday’s red carpet showing of the blockbuster movie in Hollywood. All the A-Listers were there, but people walked away talking about Lupita.

The 32 year old actress showed her style, grace, elegance and sex appeal all in one outfit and the people loved it, but did you?
