Everybody in the world seems to be loving the hit show Empire. It has a good “plot” in which Lucious Lyons owns his own record label in which he initial shares with his family.
However, as his ex-wife “Cookie” gets out of jail, she wants piece of the company as well. He has one son that is Ivy League, one son that loves all women he comes across, and one son that is gay.

So, what is Dr. Umar’s issue with Empire? It’s a great setup, right?
His problem is that there is no unity between the black man and woman.
Think about it. Lucious hates his ex-wife. The one son that is educated and “successful” is married to a white woman.
Hakeem doesn’t care about any woman and just uses them for sex. And the gay son, well, he likes men. So where is the positive coming from when it comes to black unity? What are your thoughts?

I to think the show is a plot to destroy the unity between blk men and blk woman. Theres nothing positive about the show. It portrays blacks as evil, twofaced, backbitting, liars, crooks and a lot of other things that is unacceptable. Blacks need to stop letting Hollywood portray us as ignorant Crooks evil is bad people the whole world is watching they learn from these movies and these shows that we play in in the roles that we portray they look down upon us because we let the white man manipulate our minds and throw us some bread crumbs and say Hey you want a million dollars this is what I want you to do this is what I want you to portray in the foolish black man and black woman sells himself out to it we still in slavery I can go on and on and on but what’s the point it’s so many people have came forward talkin is Shane about what we are doing wrong and it’s not getting through to our people I believe it’s too late.

I don’t even see why anyone is watching it at all for any reason. The whole mess is lunacy.
The entire series is bull and shit, along with the rest if these shows, let alone it should not be “teaching” or “destroying” anything. We don’t have any business watching whitefolk monkey poop smeared all over us anyway.
