Interior Burger King Camera Caught Chicago Cops Deleting Video They Lied About Not Deleting

Being black in a America and dealing with police officers and the judicial system is like living in a real life “Ground Hog’s Day”, same day, same sh*t. It seems every time they open their mouth in Chicago about policing they are lying.

Thanks to NBC5, we have learned there was another video camera in Burger King that filmed the cops erasing the video showing the murder of Laquan McDonald.

McDonald was brutally gunned down in Chicago October 20th, 2014 while attempting to walk away from a group of Chicago police officers. Officer, and I just that term loosely, Jason Van Dyke shot him 16, many of the which while he was on the ground and in the back. Van Dyke was the only cop to fire his weapon.

Initially, the police statement was McDonald lunged at the cop with a knife, but that was a lie as dash camera footage eventually showed. Then, we got this information from a Burger King district manager.

From RawStory: In May, Burger King district manager Jay Darshane accused officers of deleting the security footage after spending over three hours in the fast food restaurant on the night of the shooting. According to Darshane, the video equipment was working properly, but 86 minutes of footage, from 9:13 p.m. to 10:39 p.m., disappeared after the officers left.

Charged with first-degree murder, Van Dyke fired his first shot at 9:57 p.m. When asked if he was certain that the officers deleted the footage of the killing, Darshane answered, “Yes.”

“We had no idea they were going to sit there and delete files,” Darshane said. “I mean we were just trying to help the police officers.”
Naturally, the ones who lied about McDonald lunging at the cop with a knife also lied about erasing the video. The Police Supt. Garry McCarthy and Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez stated no one had tampered with the video based on their forensic testing…it must have been deleted due to technical difficulties.

When pressed on who preformed the forensic testing, Alvarez wouldn’t responded and said, “That’s all i’m going to say on this.”

WOW, how bold are these people to just blatantly and consistently LIE! You just have to watch the video.

SOUND OFF: What do you think about the consistent lies of the Chicago police department & politicians?
