Dwayned Wade is making a strong statement and laying down solid support for #justice by speaking up about #LaquanMcDonald. He took to Instagram to show his weekend gameday signature sneakers adorned with handwritten hashtags:

After the video was released last week showing a police officer murdering Laquan McDonald in cold blood protesters took to downtown Chicago to raise awareness for police brutality. Laquan’s killer has been charged with 1st degree murder but police brutality seems to be out of control and being black these days in the USA seems to be enough of a reason to fear for your life from the force that is supposed to protect you.

The protests in Chicago disrupted weekend holiday shopping and a solid movement seems to be building to raise awareness and show that #justice is needed and we all need to bond together to end this crap.

Thanks to Dwayne for speaking out and using his celebrity to show his support. I expect he will be speaking up more and more in the coming weeks.
