Remember the incident with Ahmed Mohamed, the 14-year-old Muslim boy who was arrested when he arrived at his Dallas-area school with a homemade clock. It was said it was mistaken for a bomb but so much of the incident seemed to add up to humiliation.

Anyway, now it’s being reported by the Associated Press that his attorneys are saying he was publicly mistreated and deserves a whopping $15 million

Aparently the letters which were sent on Monday asked for $10 million from the city of Irving and $5 million from the Irving Independent School District along with written apologies.

Ahmed was arrested back in September when his educator supposedly mistook his homemade clock for a bomb! He was never charged but he was suspended. The incident eventually gained so much attention that even Obama positively mentioned him.

Ahmed’s educator offered to pay for his schooling in Qatar and the family accepted and moved to Qatar to pursue the education.
