Kwame Kilpatrick’s Family Hopes For A Presidential Pardon From Barrack Obama

Just 8 short years ago, Kwame Kilpatrick and Barrack Obama were two rising starts in the political arena…but oh have things changed.

While Obama went on to become President of the United States. Kilpatrick when on to do his best to rob the City of Detroit blind as Mayor of the struggling city. And he almost got away with it, but his extravgant affairs and lifestyle put him on blast.

The ex-Mayor Kilpatrick’s family is hoping President Obama will commute his 28 year prison sentence.

7 Action News has learned that Kilpatrick’s friends and family are planning to ask President Obama for a pardon. The ex-mayor’s brother-in-law Daniel Ferguson confirms that he and others are hoping that the President will commute the rest of Kilpatrick’s 28-year sentence.
