I’m scrolling through my social media accounts and ran across a post from a frantic father out of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Apparently, a police dog disobeyed instruction by handlers and attacked his little baby girl, but he cannot get any follow up on the charges he filed, so he took to social media for help.
We won’t try to do justice to his words, but simply encourage you to follow the hashtag #JusticeforKelis and read his words below taken from his Facebook page. The father’s name is Levar Daniel on Facebook.
So I went to Mike foster’s to try and press charges on Officer Lingenfelter.
Before I told them it was the officer dog they told me they could help me they thought a pitbull that bit the baby I said no a police dog. Let me fill out the paperwork and sit there in the lobby for 45 just to say they can’t do anything. They say it’s not a criminal act. This is a trained 12,000 dollar attack dog that bit my baby.
Yes we have a lawyer on the case but money will not solve this issue for me. I need that dog put down it clearly said in the police report he did not listen to the commands so he is unfit and need to be put to rest..
Hopkinsville police department will here from us until justice is served…
#justiceforKelisA second update….
I would hate to see how a stranger in the city would get treated. I’m known by first name by many officials in my city of hokinsville.
I’m no stranger but i still get treated like one..
No phones calls and they got My personal number. I’m their Facebook friends they are probably looking at this post now and i want y’all to know I’m very upset I know y’all don’t care but i just wanted it be known.I March in marches, I help countless kids in my community, I campaign for people, I’m a small business owner.
[ADSENSE2]I always do for the community of hokinsville ask anybody around here. I don’t destroy things i build them up.
I just got one question off the record It’s been a month and I haven’t got 1 call asking how is my baby doing. WHY?

At this point, we can only feel the pain of this father’s struggle to get justice for his daughter. Hopefully, with some additional exposure to the case by media outlets like ours and social sharing, discussion and outrage from people like you, we will be able to shed some like on this case and get justice for Kelis.
