The Autistic Spectrum Disorder

I have written about the Autistic Spectrum Disorder before. Yesterday, while going to a dancing class, I was a little early and I overheard a conversation between an inspector and a worker.

They were discussing a feeding program for the children that attend the community center. The inspector was informing the man of the deficiencies of the program. His response was typical, he needed some assistance.

When she left, we started talking. I told him about my involvement in one such program when the government started them.

It is my contention that the government wanted to spread some money around to the farmers and the food processors. Of course, I did not share that aspect of my opinion, it’s too radical for most folks.

He started talking about the problems he had with the program and his lack of internal control in all areas of the program. I listened to him and made some recommendations to improve the program.

This was a part- time job and he worked full-time as a one-on-one Teacher’s Assistant with a student on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Then, I discovered that he was a whiner. The s*** that he started telling me was illegal and immoral. I really shuddered inside as he spoke.

He told me about the child leaving the room and running around the school. His response was to give him about ten to fifteen minutes before he finally went to locate him. O.k., by now I am trying to control my emotions and not cuss him the f*** out.

I told him that he needed to find another job.

He was unhappy at both jobs. His response was that he had to wait for his retirement in a few years.

One child in sixty-eight are on the Autistic Disorder Spectrum. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is more common in boys than girls.

African American children are not diagnosed as quickly and therefore do not receive treatment: Whatever that is???

This is clearly another form of genocide.

I know that parents out there in cyberspace must have a child on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder. If you have ever worked with children or have a child with the ASD you know how really extreme this can be for a parent, family and the child.

Typically, I always have a recommendation, but this time they have me in a position I hate: STUCK!
