TRUTH: UN States American Police Officers Are ‘Racial Terrorists’

by | Oct 3, 2016 | News | 0 comments

“Contemporary police killings and the trauma that they create are reminiscent of the past racial terror of lynching.”

That’s the exact wording from a report put together by a United Nations Panel who reports to the UN High Commissioner on Human Rights.

The Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent’s report linked the U.S.’s history of slavery to modern day issues. The consider the recent shootings as a human rights crisis, they also called for reparations as previously reported here and the report said:

unpoliceterrorists

“In particular, the legacy of colonial history, enslavement, racial subordination and segregation, racial terrorism and racial inequality in the United States remains a serious challenge, as there has been no real commitment to reparations and to truth and reconciliation for people of African descent,”

before stating that:

“Contemporary police killings and the trauma that they create are reminiscent of the past racial terror of lynching.”

The report can be found here.

Do you think they have gone too far or do they have it just right? Is it hypocritical for the UN to say such things in light of some of its members?
